In partnership with the Council of Cedeira, this geological route shows what is considered to be the only non-volcanic black sand beach on our planet. But, without a doubt, the location of this beach in Teixidelo -at the bottom of the highest cliffs in continental Europe- makes this area a place of incredible landscapes and full of contrasts. Along the route you can also see the waterfall or the fault of Teixidelo, a geological structure that runs through a beautiful valley of glacial origin.
The route has a high difficulty, due to the presence of quite steep sections with gravel, so it is advisable to wear hiking shoes with a lot of pattern on the sole so to protect the ankles. The estimated end of the activity will be at 16:00, so you must bring food and drink.
