In the vicinity of the fishing village of Espasante there is an exceptional set of materials that originated by underwater volcanic eruptions more than 400 million years ago, when this entire area formed part of the bottom of an ancient ocean. In this area of Ortigueira you will also admire geological structures demonstrating the high deformation suffered by the rocks. This route is possible in partnership with the Council of Ortigueira.
The route has a medium-low difficulty, so it is advisable to wear comfortable shoes.
